My school taught me i should drink 7 litres(liquid refreshment/or food) of water per day. But are we having it? If we drink 7 litres, it is leading to water intoxication now. So let us see the importance of having water!
Benefits of water:
There are so many benefits to drinking water.
- Water flushes out the toxins in our body
- Prevent kidney stones
- It helps our brain function
- Help with a headache
- Helps digestion
- Hormonal issues
- Healthy and glowing skin
Hydration has significantly impacted our health since our body comprises 60% water.
Water percentage in our body:
Brain- 80-85%
Kidneys- 80-85%
Heart- 75-80%
Lungs- 75-80%
Muscles- 70-75%
Liver- 70-75%
Skin- 70-75%
Blood- 50%
Bones- 20-25%
Teeth- 8-10%
Water significantly improves our health. As you can see above, most of our organs contain more water.
How much water should i drink:
We cannot drink more water because it is healthy. However, it differs from one person to another, like food intake.
Like how eating habits affect our health, water also has a significant impact since our body is comprised of 60% of water.
We can only have some food if we rest all day. So if we take more food, we are getting into trouble.
The same goes for water. If you are going to have water without your body asking, it will lead to intoxication.
Unsaid truth:
Exercise releases sweat and helps you reduce the fluids and let toxins out in your body, and we intake water to replace them. It is excellent right when we repeat this process. It automatically flushes the toxins and helps repair our organs and body healthier. So you can drink 3-7 litres depending on your body's needs. There are no calculations. Always remember to listen to your body!
Water is the most crucial nutrient that we consistently fail to concentrate on, go to the doctor, and do more damage with tablets.
